Boba Fett is getting a comic all his own this coming fall!
Star Wars: Boba Fett – Black, White & Red joins other similar series at Marvel, which cast the spotlight onto particular characters for miniseries runs where the artwork is the focus. Using only the colors black, white, and red, some incredible artists have worked on various issues with various characters over the past few years. Star Wars has hosted two of these series before, one focused on Darth Vader and the other focused on Darth Maul.
StarWars.com broke the news today and confirmed that writer Benjamin Percy will be penning the first issue in the new series, just as he did for the series focused on Maul, while artist Chris Allen will be handling the internal illustrations for Issue #1. Percy, and the comic’s summary, states that his issue will focus on Fett being caught between the Empire and a rogue, extremist faction of the Rebel Alliance while on a job. All three of them are after the same bounty, someone Percy describes as the best thief in the galaxy, and lava will be involved in the pursuit. Percy also praised Allen for his artistic skills, with the story and Allen’s skills as an artist seeming to be a perfect match.
The first issue of Star Wars: Boba Fett – Black, White & Red releases September 17th, 2025.
