This year marks the 25th anniversary of Xbox, with Microsoft planning new releases for franchises that started on that original console this year. Now, a new Developer Direct has been announced to air on January 22, which will reveal new information on a few of those games.

Announced last year at the Tokyo Games Show, Forza Horizon 6 will see a full reveal here, showcasing the landscape of this rendition of Japan that Playground Games have created. Some new features will also be shown off. Also from Playground Games will be a first proper look at Fable years after it was first announced. There should be a lot to show off regarding this one.

The other confirmed game to be shown at this Developer Direct is Beast of Reincarnation. Game Freak’s next project that isn’t a Pokémon game, this action RPG stars a woman and her dog as they free Japan from a corruption that has ravaged the world. Publicly revealed last year at the Xbox Games Showcase, the Developer Direct will see Game Freak talk about its creation.

That these three games are featuring in this early year presentation might suggest they will all have first half of the year releases. That was the case with all previously known games to feature in the 2025 Developer Direct. All will be revealed on January 22, 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 GMT.
