Nicolas Cage Fans Delighted To See Him As Dracula In The First Trailer Of 'Renfield'

One of the most unarguably fascinating actors of this generation is Nicolas Cage. He has a style and personality that is unlike any other in Hollywood. His range of films, from his Best Actor Oscar win in Leaving Las Vegas to his Razzie- nominated performance in the Left Behind remake and everything in between, has given him a unique legacy in Hollywood. He has enjoyed something of a career renaissance in the horror genre with films such as Mandy and Willie’s Wonderland. Now his latest project sees him stepping into the role of the infamous Count Dracula.
The upcoming horror-comedy movie Renfield sees Dracula’s long-suffering servant (played by Nicholas Hoult) find a new life for himself in modern-day New Orleans. Of course, that doesn’t sit too well with Dracula, who goes to find his manservant in what promises to be a bloody good time, if the trailer is anything to go by.

The film just by itself seems like it is not taking itself too seriously, but the addition of Cage promises even more fun. Nicholas Cage is an actor who starts chewing the scenery when you hand him a fork. This fits perfectly with not only the tone of the film but the costume and makeup as well.
The film is slated to be released by Universal Pictures on April 14th, 2023.
