Paramount Pictures has adjusted its upcoming release schedule for March 2023, following a recent tweak in this year's release strategy for Babylon, the latest film by Whiplash director Damien Chazelle. The studio has announced it will be switching the releases of two of its most anticipated forthcoming projects; Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and the untitled sixth Scream filmParamount will release both films in theatres nationwide.

Scream 6 will now be released on March 10, 2023, rather than March 31 as originally announced. The sixth entry into the long-running satirical horror franchise will be directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, returning to continue the story of the four survivors as they attempt to move on from their brush with the Ghostface Killer. Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera and Mason Gooding return to star, with series alums such as Hayden Patteniere and Courteney Cox also appearing in the Scream sequel's cast.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has been pushed back to March 31st 2023, instead of its penned release date of March 3rd- occupying the release slot left vacant by Scream 6. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are directing the film, based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop roleplaying game created by Hasbro's Wizards of the Coast. Michelle Rodriguez, Chris Pine, Regé-Jean Page, Hugh Grant, Justice Smith and Sophia Lillis will star as the adventuring band that falls into trouble during their quest to retrieve a lost relic.
