The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series at Disney+ has added two new members to the cast, as guest roles. These are Jay Duplass and Timothy Omundsen, and they will be playing Hades and Hephaestus, respectively. These two characters, Hades in particular, were major characters in the original books, so expect them to play major roles in their guest spots. Of course, this is far from the only casting information known about Percy Jackson. Viewers interested in the upcoming series should be sure to keep their eyes peeled for any sort of casting news, as there is bound to be more information coming.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is an upcoming series for Disney+. Development for the series began in May 2020, while filming began in June 2022 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The show is scheduled to premiere in 2024, with the first season consisting of 8 episodes, which will presumably adapt the first book in the series, The Lightning Thief. That is all that is known at the moment, though more information will come out as the premiere date gets closer. There were previously two films from 20th Century Fox, but those played fast and loose with the source material.
