Dave Filoni, the man currently influencing the majority of Star Wars-related animation, has spoken out about his recent step in live-action. This was recently done with the first season of Ahsoka, which scored a solid 7.6 on IMDB while getting 86% from critics and 69% from fans on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, Filoni has spoken about a possible season 2.

Filoni has spoken, saying, “We set up Captain Pellaeon in The Mandalorian, and that’s a character that goes with Thrawn, so I’d love to see the two of them together.” For those unfamiliar, Pellaeon was an associate of Thrawn in Legends, acting as his second in command. Filoni continued, “His foil throughout Rebels was Hera. Pitting the two generals against one another is something that I find interesting.” We could be in for an almighty clash of blue vs. green.” Hera was one of the main protagonists in Rebels, one of the animated shows that was made by Filoni, that also introduced Thrawn into the Disney Canon.

The series ended with Thrawn returning to the Star Wars galaxy, presumably to play a major role in the Imperial Remnant, which is still recovering from its losses during and after Return of The Jedi.
