Universal Orlando Announces New Addition To Theme Park In 2025
2024 may have barely begun, but Universal Orlando Resort is already giving people a reason to look forward to 2025. A brand new theme park has been further unveiled! Currently named Universal Epic Universe, this park will be broken into four main parts: Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk, and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. These experiences will link through Celestial Park, an experience in and of itself. Celestial Park takes visitors around to the rest of the experience as a gateway; Adam Rivest, this section’s executive producer, explained its design, “We’ve made a conscious effort to put the park back into theme park, and made sure not to design it with lots of concrete and asphalt streets.”
Universal Epic Universe seems to be living up to its name, as everything described thus far sounds pretty epic. From a colorful carousel to the tease of riding dragons to a reimagined version of the classic Universal monsters, there’s a lot to look forward to. There will also be a hotel embedded into the park for an extra notch in the experience. Rivest commented on the new park as a whole, “Epic is not just an idea; it is a living, breathing entity that we are creating here in Orlando, and so many people have been nurturing it along the way. So it’s just really exciting that we’re about to share this park with the world.”
