A New Action-Comedy, 'Unwanted' Based Off The QCode Podcast, Will Star Kenan Thompson and Lamorne Morris

Everyone is gonna want to hear this! It’s officially been confirmed that a film based on the popular narrative podcast Unwanted is in the works. The popular and acclaimed QCode podcast centers on two men who try to collect a $1 million reward to capture a murderous convict on the run. Little do they know that they are woefully unprepared for what’s to come. Unwanted is written and directed by Lamorne Morris and frequent collaborator Kyle Shevrin and will team-up the write the film’s screenplay. Morris is set to star in the film alongside Kenan Thompson. Unwanted will serve as the feature directorial debut of prolific television director Richie Keen, who has worked on many acclaimed comedy series, including It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Lamorne Morris is perhaps best known for his roles as Winston Bishop in the cult Fox sitcom New Girl and Trooper Witt Farr in the fifth season of the acclaimed FX series Fargo, which won him the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or TV Movie. Morris will next be seen as Robbie Robertson in the upcoming Spider-Noir TV series. Kenan Thompson is best known as the longest-tenured cast member on Saturday Night Live.
