A Teaser Trailer For 'Jurassic World: Chaos Theory' Has Been Released

Jurassic Park: Chaos Theory

As Netflix’s Geeked Week continues, fans of the Jurassic Park series got their first teaser for a brand new animated series in the franchise: Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. The series is a co-production between Universal, Amblin Entertainment, and DreamWorks Animation, set after the events of the film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Additionally, the series appears to be a sequel to the animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, as the character Darius Bowman appears at the end of the teaser. Darius was the main protagonist of Camp Cretaceous, another series produced by Universal, Amblin, and DreamWorks, which ran for five seasons from 2020 until 2022. The series focused on Darius and a group of teenagers who find themselves stranded on Isla Nublar following the events of Jurassic World.

Little else is known about Chaos Theory, or how it will tie into the rest of the larger Jurassic World story, but fans of the Jurassic World franchise, and the Camp Cretaceous series won’t have to wait much longer, as the series is expected to release on Netflix sometime in 2024.

The Jurassic Park and Jurassic World films are available to stream on Peacock. All five seasons of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous are available to stream on Netflix.
