'Crystal Lake': William Catlett Cast In 'Friday The 13th' Prequel TV Series

The cast of Crystal Lake, the prequel series to Friday the 13th, coming from Peacock, has grown with the announcement of William Catlett. The character that Catlett will portray, Levon Brooks, is an unknown at present. Details on who this character is have not been released.
Catlett, who has previously starred in series such as Constellation and The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, will appear alongside Linda Cardellini in Crystal Lake. Cardellini will portray Pamela Voorhees, with the series focusing on her life before the events of Friday the 13th.
From August 2024, Brad Caleb Kane has been the creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer for the Peacock series. Writer of the original film, Victor Miller, is also part of the executive producers for Crystal Lake. Also on the list of executive producers are Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian, Stuart Manashil, and Marc Toberoff. A24 is the film studio attached to the production of the series.
Released in 1980, Friday the 13th proved to be a huge hit, grossing nearly $60 million at the box office. Eleven further films have been released in the horror franchise since, including the 2009 reboot of the original film. Jason, the franchise antagonist from the second film, will apparently play a role in the series.
