The end of a mini era in the MCU is upon us. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again will end after its third season. This decision coincides with a broader slowdown in MCU television production, including the belated cancellation of Wonder Man and the Collider-reported upcoming scale-back of new live-action shows following the release of VisionQuest in October. The show is reportedly still in the post-production phase. According to THR, Marvel also parted ways with showrunner Dario Scardapane instead of renewing his contract; there is no word on who will be filling these shoes at this time.

Daredevil: Born Again follows Matt Murdock in his fight against Kingpin Wilson Fisk, both as a lawyer and a vigilante. Fisk, now Mayor of New York, consolidates power and cracks down on vigilantism, creating the violent and militaristic Anti-Vigilante Task Force. The second season left off with Matt revealing to the world that he is the Devil of Hell's Kitchen in order to win a massive case against Fisk. After the reveal, Matt is arrested, and the Kingpin is forced to leave New York. The third season of the show is aiming for a March 2027 release exclusively on Disney+. While you wait for the new season, both the Netflix series Daredevil and Disney’s Daredevil: Born Again are available to stream on Disney+.
