'Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc' Premieres Spring 2024

Aniplex has announced plans for their 2024 Demon Slayer World Tour, along with a promotional reel for the series, serving as a recap of previous events as well as offering a teaser for the upcoming storyline of the series, the Hashira Training Arc, as well as confirming the arc will release this coming spring.

While Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is set to return in the spring, fans in 140 countries will get a first look at the Hashira Training Arc as early as February through Aniplex’s “Demon Slayer World Tour,” as the final episode of the previous “Swordsmith Village Arc” will be screened in 4K and IMAX in conjunction with the first episode of the Hashira Training Arc. Like other season premieres, it will be an hour long.

  • February 2nd-3rd: Tokyo, Japan

  • February 10th: New York, USA

  • February 11th: Seoul, South Korea

  • February 17th: Mexico City, Mexico and Singapore

  • February 18th: Jakarta, Malaysia

  • February 24th: Paris, France and Taipei, Taiwan

  • February 25th: London, UK and Hong Kong

Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the journey of Tanjiro Kamado as he goes on a quest to save his sister, who was turned into a demon. The anime first premiered in 2019, and has three seasons under its belt, along with a record-breaking film, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, which released in 2020. Following the success of the movie, Aniplex and animation studio Ufotable has been releasing the first episodes of new seasons into theaters starting with last year’s Swordsmith Village Arc.

All three seasons of Demon Slayer are streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu. The film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, is streaming on Crunchyroll.
