Sales. Who doesn’t love sales? Whenever you see a video game, movie or TV go on sale for a fraction of its original price, it’s a huge incentive to buy it. Now it looks like the gaming giant Nintendo has some great stuff planned for the Christmas season.

Between December 21st and January 3rd, several popular games on the Switch E-store will go on some sort of sale. So far there has been no indication of exactly how much the games will be discounted, but so far we have a pretty good list of which titles we’ll be seeing, including but not limited to Skyrim V, the Arkham trilogy, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Metroid Dread, Sonic Superstars, and Bluey: The Video Game.

But no Pikmin? For shame.

This list isn’t completely solid yet as far as we know, so there could be games added or taken away between now and then. So far there is also no indication that the actual console itself will be discounted. Regardless, it’s a pretty solid list, and if you’ve got some kids that you’re Christmas shopping for, or you want to treat yourself to a Switch game that you’ve had your eye on for a while, this is the time to do it.
