'Disclosure Day' Trailer Released

“If everything's ready here on the Dark Side of the Moon... play the five tones.

After a year of quiet news and mystery, Universal Pictures has finally released a trailer (and a title) for Steven Spielberg’s upcoming original UFO film. Titled Disclosure Day, the film is Spielberg’s fourth science fiction-heavy film following Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T., the Extra-Terrestrial, and his adaptation of War of the Worlds. While the trailer is light on plot details, it’s heavy on mystery, tension, and classic Spielberg visuals. The film stars Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer), Josh O’Connor (Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery), Colin Firth (The King’s Speech), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Wyatt Russell (Thunderbolts*), and Eve Hewson (Jay Kelly).

Prominent crew members include costume designer Paul Tazewell (Wicked), Spielberg’s frequent editors Sarah Broshar and Michael Kahn, Spielberg’s go-to cinematographer Janusz Kamiński, and Spielberg’s legendary partner-in-crime, composer John Williams. Disclosure Day will be Spielberg and Williams’ 30th collaboration together and Spielberg’s 35th movie overall.

Disclosure Day will arrive in theaters on June 12th, 2026.
