Disney Released The First Official Trailer For ‘Night At The Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again’

It’s time to clock in for the night shift at New York’s American Museum of Natural History. Disney dropped the first official trailer of the upcoming feature film Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again. The film stars Joshua Bassett, Jamie Demetriou, Alice Isaaz, Gillian Jacobs, and Zachery Levi, amongst many others. The new trailer arrives alongside a new poster for the animated film.

The film is directed by Matt Danner and produced by Shawn Levy. The screenplay was written by Ray DeLaurentis and Will Schifrin. The story follows Nick Daley, the son of Larry Daley, from the live-action films, following in his father’s footsteps at his challenging summer job, at his father’s post, as a nightwatchman at New York’s American Museum of Natural History.

From the official synopsis, “Luckily, he is familiar with the museum’s ancient tablet that brings everything to life when the sun goes down and is happy to see his old friends, including Jedediah, Octavius, and Sacagawea, when he arrives. But when the maniacal ruler Kahmunrah escapes with plans to unlock the Egyptian underworld and free its Amry of the Dead, it is up to Nick to stop the demented overlord and save the museum once and for all.”

Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again debuts on Disney+ on December 9.
