John Williams is one of the most popular composers of modern times. He has won five Oscars, and last year he became the oldest person to be nominated for the award for his work on The Fabelmans.  He announced his retirement from the film industry back in June, making Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny his last score. It’s impossible to imagine any Spielberg or Lucasfilm project without him, but at age 91, after over seven decades of writing iconic themes, he probably deserves a break.

Disney Plus has released a featurette showing the iconic composer working on the Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny soundtrack. The short film includes interviews with the cast and crew, including Harrison Ford and Kathleen Kennedy.

The featurette shows Williams conducting a full orchestra in his signature black turtleneck, playing several of the pieces from the movie—a treat for any music fan. Williams and director James Mangold talk about the process of composing and his time working on Indiana Jones 5. The Featurette also gives lovers of Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny short insights into how the music emphasizes key scenes and characters.

The Dial of Destiny Featurette is available now on Disney Plus
