During the interview after the event, Jon Favreau talked about his work on the Star Wars franchise and all the projects he is currently working on to expand this Universe further. One of these presented its main character during the second season of The Mandalorian, a series centered on Ahsoka Tano, played by Rosario Dawson. The project is set to release in a few months on Disney+.

Then, there is the most recent project titled Skeleton Crew. There is not much information about this new spin-off series, except that the main cast consists of 5 characters: 4 kids and a supervising adult portrayed by Jude Law.

Favreau mentioned before this new project will have direct ties to the fourth season of The Mandalorian, which was already written. However, the director warned Variety that there will be no introduction of the characters in the third season of the series.

With the new information is uncertain which route the “MandoVerse” is taking. It is very likely Skeleton Crew could work as its own independent series, we will have to wait and see how everything connects in the end.
