In just over four months, the next and final installment of the Harrison Ford-led Indiana Jones franchise will hit screens with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Harrison Ford said it will be his last time portraying the adventurous archeologist. With tonight being the big game, there are a slew of trailers debuting on the coattails of the game’s viewership, and in one of the tight 30-second timeslots, Lucasfilm released the latest Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny trailer.

There are not a lot of new scenes in particular for this new trailer. In the last bit, we see Indy and Helena Shaw, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Helena is hanging out the tail end of a plane. In a familiar Indiana Jones comedy moment, Indy asks what she is doing there and she says she is rescuing him. Together they jump out of the plane sharing one parachute between them.

RELATED:

Waller-Bridge’s Helena is Indy’s goddaughter and there is speculation that she could be the one to carry on the mantle if the franchise continues. Ford’s comment that he will not continue the role after this movie could suggest that there will be more Indiana Jones to come, just not with him.

Whatever this dial of destiny is, and the quest it brings Indy on, it involves Nazis again, and Indy’s old friend Sallah. More details are likely to come before the release date with several large conventions slated beforehand. Regardless, fans will not have to wait much longer before everything is revealed on June 30th, 2023.
