Ludwig Göransson Would Love To Score More 'Star Wars' Projects

Ludwig Göransson is the John Williams for the generation of fans who were introduced to Star Wars by The Mandalorian and Grogu. The Swedish composer’s name is attached to all the latest Christopher Nolan and Ryan Coogler blockbusters, including Sinners and, most recently, The Odyssey. During the Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Official Podcast, director Jon Favreau complimented Göransson on his impressive body of work and thanked him “for being a part of this” and “for doing such a great job.” Favreau congratulated the composer on his huge fan following and thanked him for his “creative generosity.” A humbled Göransson said, “I’m very humbled and honored to sit here next to you and talk. Thanks for inviting me to be part of this universe, and we're having so much fun together, and you know, I’d do it again in a heartbeat.”

Fans can rest easy knowing that despite how in-demand Ludwig is right now, he loves making music for The Mandalorian, and should the show return for another season and the movie get a sequel, he would likely return with more bangers for Din Djarin and Grogu. Göransson is beloved for his use of unique instruments and sounds, and he just showcased his abilities in The Odyssey, particularly for the Siren’s Song and Odysseus’s theme.
