Marvel Entertainment has released a new trailer for the upcoming Wolverine game developed by Insomniac Games. The tagline is as follows: “Unleash the rage, confront the past. With the fate of humans and mutants hanging in the balance, Logan knows the world needs a hero; however, they’ll have to settle for Wolverine. Experience thrilling set pieces throughout Wolverine’s journey in this global fight for mutant survival.” We’ll let the readers at home take a look at the trailer on their own time, but we can clarify that it features scenes from the game, including a great look at Logan himself.

Marvel’s Wolverine is being developed by Insomniac Games, to be published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Marcus Smith and Mike Daly are directing, and the game is planned for a September 15, 2026 release on PlayStation 5. The story, written by Mary Kenney, Walt Williams, Joe Halstead and Nick Folkman, features Wolverine rejoining Team X to investigate the abduction of various mutants, bringing him into conflict with Bolivar Trask’s Reavers militia. The game is taking elements from throughout Wolverine’s career, and fans of the character should consider giving it a look. True believers should check out other Marvel news right here while we wait for more information on this.
