New Plot Details For The New Daniels Movie Have Been Revealed, And Matt Damon Is In Talks To Star

The Daniels are set to take over the Multiverse once again! The Hollywood Reporter has revealed details about their highly anticipated secret project.
The Daniels have been working on the film since 2023. The screenplay is allegedly set in two timelines; one in the 1980’s and one in present day and deal with global warming, time travel, and a potential superhero angle. Matt Damon is in talks to Star, replacing Ryan Gosling, while casting for prominent teenage characters is ongoing. Due to the film’s heavy focus on teen characters, Ryan Gosling felt the character he was set to play wasn’t in the film enough and demanded rewrites to the screenplay. While the Daniels initially considered rewriting the script, time was running out as the film had already been delayed once and filming had to begin by late summer or early fall. Gosling left the project and Damon entered talks. Universal backed Damon’s casting due to past collaborations on the Bourne franchise and his lead performance in the upcoming Christopher Nolan epic The Odyssey.
