Phase Four of the MCU has wrapped up with a nice present in The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. It's on to Phase Five now.

Just like when The Walt Disney Company by way of the MCU's Infinity Saga announced to the entire planet that they planned on becoming the juggernaut they are today, the MCU is once again building upon The Multiverse Saga foundation that Phase 4 began. This time, the threats do originate from different dimensions and timelines but they are still of the earth rather than extraterrestrial, except for The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Secret Invasion; then again, because they're technically part of the Multiverse Saga, their story arcs may still intertwine with the overall storyline.

With the shift from off-planet battlefields and extra-terrestrial combatants to parallel universes, it is fitting that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania takes us to another realm that makes up part of the multiverse all while building upon the concepts introduced in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Total Film has dropped a never-before-seen set photo. Using the Quantumania trailer as the basis, this scene would have taken place soon after Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) landed in the Quantum Realm. There's still some wonderment in Cassie's eyes which is in contrast to Scott's trepidation maybe because he's been there and knows what Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) experienced during her 30 years in the Quantum Realm.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania producer, Stephen Broussard, has stated the Quantum Realm "feels like a place you haven't been to before in the MCU, full of people and characters and worlds and politics and history." It will be no surprise that not a few among the audience will have those same reactions of trepidation and wonderment.
