One of the best co-op games in years is leaping from television screen to, well, another television screen.

Overcooked, a cooperative restaurant cooking game where players have to cook food to order, quickly, and often in wacky situations (like between two moving hot air balloons), has spawned two games and captured the hearts of co-op gamers. It’s a fun and challenging game that makes it a great small-party game with plenty of variety.

Now, it seems that A24 is looking to bring that energy to their first reality TV series.

A24 has been one of, if not the, most successful indie studios to join the entertainment sector in recent years. While they’ve mostly stuck to movies, they have ventured into television, but this would be their first ever reality television show.

Supposedly, the format will be unscripted in the manner of Nailed It! and The Floor is Lava. Not sure how they’re going to pull off some of the wacky and hair-pulling scenarios that come up in the game, like the one mentioned above, but who knows these days. The nice thing is that Gemma Langford, Oli De-Vine, and Phil Duncan, all members of Ghost Town Games, one of the game’s developers, are all set to produce.

It’s still early in production, and more details will emerge in time, but this is definitely one to keep an eye out for.
