The Twilight novels introduced the love story between human Bella Swan and a century-old vampire named Edward Cullen. Robert Pattinson played Edward in 5 Twilight movies that made billions at the box office. Years later, he still gets asked questions about his work in them. During the promotion for The Drama, in which he stars opposite Zendaya, Pattinson and his co-star were asked which team they were on, Team Edward or Team Jacob. Jacob Black was Bella Swan’s shapeshifting best friend, played by Taylor Lautner, who fought equally hard to win Bella’s affections, but ultimately lost to Edward.

Zendaya quickly picked Team Edward, and Pattinson jokingly added, “No one's Team Jacob. That was just a marketing thing.” Sadly for the reporter doing the interview, she was Team Jacob, so it must’ve been a bit awkward to hear that from Robert Pattinson himself. Zendaya told Pattinson, “We all know where your heart is”, referring to the actor being the one Bella chooses. Pattinson’s comments may seem dismissive of Jacob’s fans, but he is well known for being hilarious and making outrageous comments during interviews, so it’s best not to take him too seriously.

The Drama is a romantic comedy with a dark twist and Pattinson and Zendaya play a couple whose relationship is challenged by a revelation about one of them right before their wedding. Even Twilight ended up a huge drama, where everything led to a big wedding. Years later, whenever Pattinson and Kristen Stewart share their thoughts on the saga, they still go viral online, proving how big those movies still are. As for Robert Pattinson and Zendaya, they’ll be seen again in The Odyssey and Dune: Part Three, for a total of three films together this year.
