'Sorority Row 2' Teased By Josh Stolberg

If you’re a millennial, then you have probably heard of 2009’s slasher, Sorority Row. The film was a remake of 1982’s The House on Sorority Row and featured Carrie Fisher as the house mother, Julian Morris as the hooded killer, and Briana Evigan, Margo Harshman, Rumer Willis, Jamie Chang, and Leah Pipes as the sisters fighting for their lives. This film featured every actor who was popular in the mid-2000s, and quickly became a sleepover favorite film. Unfortunately, the film was not a box office success, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping one of the film’s writers, Josh Stolberg, from teasing that a sequel is on the way.
Earlier this month, Stolberg took to X to tweet out cryptic teases of the yet-to-be-confirmed sequel. He kicked off the weekend tweeting “the tire iron will be back,” then he followed this up with “Sorority Row 2. A little make-up test to see what Jessica might look like in 2025.” He tagged actress Leah Marie Pipes in the tweeted photo and then added, “I hope you like sitting in the makeup chair.” When a fan asked how the character could return since she died in the first film, he responded with “It’ll all make sense in the end” while teasing that other characters from the original film will also return. All of these teases come on the heels of his statements to a fan who had asked for an update on the sequel in March, saying, “It’s happening. Gotta get through my current movie first before we dive in full force. New film at Lionsgate shooting this summer. And they hold the rights to Sorority Row.”
