Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord’s first official trailer releases tomorrow. In an unexpected move, Star Wars officially announced the trailer release with a scintillating teaser that features the Duel of the Fates music, Maul’s double-bladed lightsaber, and a glimpse of Obi-Wan and Darth Maul’s fateful duel from the Star Wars Rebels episode, ‘Twin Suns’, where Maul loses his life. Until then, he is ‘Wanted across the galaxy.’

Maul: Shadow Lord will show how Darth Maul rebuilds his criminal syndicate after the events of Order 66 on the planet of Janix, which is untouched by the Empire. The series takes place between the events of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, and features the return of many familiar and unfamiliar faces. Shadow Lord will receive a prequel comic mini-series titled Star Wars: Shadow of Maul, with the first issue scheduled to release on March 1st. Sam Witwer, who has voiced Maul in everything from video games, The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and Solo: A Star Wars Story, will be back as the voice of Darth Maul. Maul: Shadow Lord’s official release date should hopefully be revealed tomorrow with its first trailer.
