The Super Bowl is here and that means trailers. Rumors swirled that the first trailer for Deadpool 3 would be released during the Super Bowl, and the rumors were correct. The first trailer for the third installment in the Deadpool franchise is finally here.

It appears our anti-hero is officially a part of the MCU. The trailer begins with Wade Wilson celebrating his birthday with his family and friends. The party is interrupted by some men, who fight and eventually kidnap Wade. When he wakes up, he is across a table from a character played by Matthew Macfadyen. He is shown around, and it appears he was brought to the TVA or Time Variance Authority. There are many fourth-wall quips, and we see him suit up as Deadpool. The rest of the trailer features plenty of fighting and jokes. The end has Deadpool on the ground, with a shadowy figure standing over him, who eventually releases his claws.

The first glance of Wolverine we see is when he is helping Deadpool up off the ground. This is Deadpool's official introduction to the MCU, and with the TVA involved, it will be exciting to see how they incorporate this character, who isn’t your typical “hero”.

The movie is officially titled Deadpool & Wolverine and will be released in theaters in July.
