The High Republic Era Of 'Star Wars' Has More Stories Coming

A recent article for StarWars.com has confirmed that more stories will be set during the High Republic era in the future of Star Wars publishing.
The article was a transcript of a roundtable interview featuring many of the authors for The High Republic as well as Michael (Mike) Siglain, Director of Creative Franchise at Lucasfilm. While largely serving as a look back at moments, characters, and different stories, the article ended on a note from Siglain that this was not the last fans will see of the High Republic era.
To a degree, this was always to be expected. High Republic content has appeared across books, comics, and even video games set outside of the traditional Phases 1, 2, and 3 of the formal publishing initiative. The period has been woven into the fabric of Star Wars and will remain there for years to come.
But Siglain’s comments seem to specifically hint at continuations of some storylines from the formal publishing initiative. Joking that it isn’t Phase 4, but instead Phase More, it sounds like these direct continuations will be arriving imminently if Siglain was speaking with such confidence about them, yet simultaneously not able to elaborate any further.
Trials of the Jedi is out now for purchase, and there are just a few final Star Wars comics left before the formal initiative comes to an end.
