Prince Adam, aka He-Man, is the iconic action figure created by Mattel in 1982. He made his animated television debut a year later and was probably a staple in children's toyboxes from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s.

There have been talks of a full-length feature film for the hero for years, with some of the heaviest hitters in Hollywood attached to it at one point or another. For example, powerhouses like Sony and Netflix expressed interest in making a He-Man movie. At last, by the power of Grayskull, fans have a release date! Amazon MGM has enlisted Travis Knight to direct the picture with a script penned by Chris Butler.
