The official trailer for Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel dropped on October 1, setting the story into a full infernal war, raising the stakes quickly after the conclusion of Season 1. A dire warning sets the stage for a sense of impending doom: angels know they can die, and they will avenge themselves. Charlie Morningstar (Erika Henningsen) must confront the looming threat from above, as well as an emerging wave of political unrest from below.
The trailer reveals that the grand opening of the Hazbin Hotel has attracted some new tenants who will complicate Charlie’s life, especially the anxious and jittery Baxter (Kevin Del Aguila), who may hold some sway with the other tenants. But the major driver of conflict in the trailer appears to be Vox (Christian Borle), who orchestrates a campaign for a “hellwide uprising against heaven,” with a plan to overthrow God, which Charlie apparently disagrees with. Also tangled in these conflicts, Vaggie (Stephanie Beatriz) takes charge of the demonic factions, while grappling with some self-doubt, suggesting inner conflict for the Hell Royal Family.

The trailer ends with a challenge to Charlie's leadership, implying that she must demonstrate her merit in all of hell before even considering challenging heaven; she ultimately tells her team, “Together we can do it again.”
This season is sure to include political schemes, even more vicious action, and the core gang having to deal with the dire consequences of their decisions.
The second season of Hazbin Hotel fires up on Amazon Prime Video on October 29, 2025. While you’re waiting for that premiere date, you might want to give Season 1 a re-watch and definitely check out the new season’s official trailer!
