The Trailer For 'Zootopia 2' Has Been Released

The trailer for Zootopia 2 (Zootropolis 2 if you’re in the UK or Europe) has just dropped, but can it top its Oscar-winning original? Zootopia grossed over $1 billion worldwide, with a steady hand, Jared Bush at the helm. The triple threat writer/director/producer has a winning record at Disney. He also penned Moana, Moana 2, and Encanto.
Gennifer Godwin and Jason Bateman are back in Zootopia 2 as the unlikely pairing of Nick Wilde and Judy Hops. It appears that the new story is set less than a week after Nick graduated from the Academy. Idris Elba (Chief Bogo) and Shakira (Gazelle) are returning to the franchise, but some exciting newbies are joining the cast.
Stand-up comic and star of The Mindy Project, Fortune Feimster is taking on the role of Nibbles, the beaver. Ke Huy Quan is playing Gary De Snake, and judging by the trailer, the pit viper will be a key player in the new storyline. Ke Huy Quan is best known for his performances as a child actor in the 1980s. He played Data in The Goonies and Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Zootopia 2/ Zootropolis 2 will be coming to theaters in November 2025.
