Warner Bros. & Legendary Pictures Drop Trailer For 'Dune: Part Three'

If fear is the mind killer, what does that make anticipation? Warner Bros. has just released a trailer for Legendary Pictures’ Dune: Part Three. It includes several scenes from the movie, as to be expected. The synopsis reads as follows, “Dune: Part Three is set nearly two decades after Paul Atreides seized control of the Imperium. Now a ruthless Emperor, Paul must face the consequences of his reign as old allies return, terrifying new threats emerge, and betrayal lurks in every shadow. Haunted by visions of Imperial collapse and the reappearance of his long-lost love, Paul is drawn into a sweeping conspiracy, with Chani at the heart of its unfolding mystery. As rebellion brews and enemies close in, Paul must confront the true cost of power and the fate of those he loves the most.”

Dune: Part Three is based upon Frank Herbert’s Dune novels, specifically Dune Messiah. Most of the cast and crew are returning, including director and co-writer Denis Villeneuve, Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Zendaya as Chani, and Ana Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides. The film is planned for release on December 18 at the end of the year. Fans are sure to return as Arakkis, as sure as the spice must flow.
