Every Wednesday, at 7pm Eastern, two die-hard Star Wars fans embark on a voyage of celebration and nerdiness on Star Wars Culture LIVE: a positive podcast focused on the best of the Star Wars fandom. These characters are Ian Bowling and Marty Ingleston, and they’ve been the hosts of SWCL since August of 2024. Since then, the podcast has gone through numerous stages of evolution: “Top 3” favorites, dad jokes, “On This Day”, guest appearances, and many other types of segments. Nowadays, the “Host Fun Facts” has transformed into “Whatcha Up To?” followed by news updates via Star Wars Underworld and the main episode focus. This week, the focus was on cancelled Star Wars video games.

There is a surprising amount of abandoned galactic gaming projects out there, many of which were doomed by the Star Wars-Disney acquisition in 2012. Using Wookieepedia as a guide, Ian and Marty explore a few of these unreleased games, discussing why they didn’t make it and what ultimately became of the ideas and concepts. At the end of the show, Marty presents a trivia question that connects to the episode’s topic. Ian got it right; can you?
