'Star Wars' Culture LIVE Ep. 44 - 'Andor' At The Emmys!

Every Wednesday at 7pm Eastern, Ian Bowling (@NerdiestStepdad) and Marty Ingleston (@Marty21794) host a “pod of positivity” celebrating Star Wars and the best of its community. This video podcast, entitled Star Wars Culture LIVE, launched in August of 2024 and can be found on YouTube, Facebook, and X. Since then, the podcast has gone through numerous stages of evolution: “Top 3” favorites, dad jokes, “On This Day”, guest appearances, and many other types of segments. Nowadays, the “Host Fun Facts” has transformed into “Whatcha Up To?” followed by news updates via Star Wars Underworld and the main episode focus.
Seeing as Andor made headlines for its Emmy nominations and wins last weekend (with more to hopefully come this Saturday night), this week’s episode honed in on those episodes of the series that were involved in the awards. Acting, directing, costumes, set design; the guys discussed all this and more, finally examining Andor’s competition in the upcoming Emmy categories. As always, the show ended with Marty’s trivia question, and Ian was lucky enough to remember tangential topics from earlier in the episode. That’s two right in a row!
