'Star Wars' Culture LIVE Ep. 45 - LEGO Rebuilds The Galaxy, And 'The Mandalorian And Grogu' Teaser Trailer!

Every Wednesday, at 7pm Eastern, two die-hard Star Wars fans embark on a voyage of celebration and nerdiness on “Star Wars Culture LIVE,” a positive podcast focused on the best of the Star Wars fandom. These characters are Ian Bowling and Marty Ingleston, and they’ve been the hosts of SWCL since August of 2024. Since then, the podcast has gone through numerous stages of evolution: “Top 3” favorites, dad jokes, “On This Day”, guest appearances, and many other types of segments. Nowadays, the “Host Fun Facts” has transformed into “Whatcha Up To?” followed by news updates via Star Wars Underworld and the main episode focus.
This week, it was easy to find something to focus on; two exciting new Star Wars products were released over the weekend. On Friday, the second installment of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy appeared on Disney+, and our hosting heroes wasted no time in hashing out their favorite and least favorite parts. (Spoiler: Ian still likes Darth Jar Jar.) The bigger news, however, came in the form of a teaser trailer for The Mandalorian And Grogu, which hits theaters in May 2026. While the trailer doesn’t reveal much as far as plot points, Ian and Marty go over the details that were included, enjoying the excitement of seeing both Sigourney Weaver join the Star Wars universe and Zeb get his live-action spotlight.
