Author Ali Hazelwood has seen a fair bit of success from her book, The Love Hypothesis, and its Amazon Prime Video film adaptation. More content is on the way, as Hazelwood confirmed a sequel book is in development and a film adaptation is potentially in the works. The beauty of fandoms is how much potential they have for inspiring others, and that's certainly the case when it comes to The Love Hypothesis. The author's book began as a Star Wars fanfiction shipping Rey with Kylo Ren, also known as Reylo.

Hazelwood confirmed the news in an Instagram post:"'I wrote a sequel to The Love Hypothesis' is not a sentence I thought I’d say a year or so ago, but now I weirdly can’t imagine a world in which The Two-Body Problem doesn’t exist. I’m really eager to talk more about this book and how it came about in the next few months. For now let me just say that the TLH movie and its cast made me fall for Adam and Olive all over again, that revisiting them was an absolute pleasure."
