As the release date creeps closer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, details are being sprinkled for the fans.  Sports fans may be particularly happy about the latest news: an exclusive look at the new movie will be played during the College Football Playoff National Championship.  It starts at 7:30 PM EST (4:30 PM PST) and can be watched on ESPN.

Quantumania will officially kick off Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  Making a return from the previous installment of the Ant-Man movies, Hope van Dyne will join Scott Lang to continue the adventures of their superhero counterparts.  This adventure takes the duo, as well as Hope’s parents, to the Quantum Realm.

This adventure will alter the reality they thought they knew and will further develop the mysterious Kang introduced during Loki season one.  Another antagonist, MODOK, is meant to be introduced to the MCU as well.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will hit theaters on February 17, 2023.  A launch date for the Disney+ release has yet to be revealed, though if it follows the lead of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, it will be over a month after the theatrical release at minimum.
