It’s been a while, but it’s finally here. Ubisoft has just released a trailer for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. The trailer, linked below, showcases in-game footage, highlighting the new graphics. Fans of the original might recognize some scenes and characters from the game in this trailer. Included in the trailer was the release date, July 9th of this year, just a couple of months away. Fans looking to get the game should mark their calendars and make sure they have enough money to afford the remake in the first place.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was released on October 29, 2013. The game’s main story follows Edward Kenway, grandfather of previous protagonist Ratonhnhaké:ton/”Connor”, as he begins a career of piracy in the Caribbean amidst a conspiracy involving the Assassins and the Templars. Considered one of the best games in the series, Assassin’s Creed IV would receive DLC expansions, including Freedom’s Cry. The success of the game would continue to keep the series thriving, and a remake was sure to come almost 13 years later, in the form of Resynced. It seems that pirates will never leave the series behind.
