The Owl House creative team revealed back in January that they were working on a new animated web series called Knights of Guinevere. Not much was known when it was first announced, besides the fact that it was going to be a fairytale with some body horror in the sci-fi genre. However, the first trailer has been released, along with the official cast, providing more insight into what fans can expect from the show.

The trailer features a fantasy theme park called Park Planet, and although it’s not in complete disarray, some signs indicate the park has seen better days. We are introduced to two workers named Andi and Frankie. They find a damaged Princess Android and think that with a little TLC, it could be their ticket off the planet.

It seems that the show may be set in two different realities: the real world with Andi and Frankie, and then also what seems to be the mind of the Princess Android. We get some more insight into the Princess Android, when she wasn’t interacting with the public, appears to have been a slave to a human girl and the park owner. She dreams of escaping the tower she is locked in and finding her “knights”, which may complicate the plans that Andi and Frankie have in mind.

The cast features Eden Riegel voicing Gwen, Michaela Laws and Zelda Khan Black both voice Andi and Frankie, Kayleigh McKee voices Sparky, and SungWong Cho plays Orville Park, the central figurehead of the park. Lauren Kong and Erin Nicole Lundquist give their voices to the young and old versions of Olivia Park, the young girl we see with Orville and Gwen in the trailer.

The pilot episode of Knights of Guinevere releases September 19th.
