Rumors abound about the reshoot period for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. These rumors state that they were out of the ordinary, going on for far longer than they really should have. However, these claims have been denied by the film’s director, James Wan.

According to Wan, the film only took one round of shooting over eight days, with nothing out of the ordinary. Wan clarified, “It was just spread out because it’s so hard to get your actors back once you’ve finished the initial shoot.” These rumors had been surrounding the film since the middle of the year, but now it appears as though they weren’t true at all.

This news comes amid a few other rumors, including Jason Momoa showing up to work drunk. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set to release on December 20, 2023, as the last film of Warner Brothers’s DC Extended Universe. Described by Wan as a superhero buddy comedy, Jason Mamoa stars as Aquaman as he teams up with his half brother in order to protect his loved ones from an ancient power unleashed by his archenemy, Black Manta.

Production on the film seems to be going strong, and there are no real reports of it stopping.
