The future of G.I. Joe is confirmed, joining the Transformers in their new comic book home at Skybound Entertainment. Fans of the comic title G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, in particular, have something to look forward to; Skybound will be continuing the comic series where it left off, starting at issue #301. Not only that, but writer Larry Hama will continue his work on the series!  Hama is a long-time G.I. Joe comic universe writer.

A Real American Hero is “one of the longest-running non-superhero comics of all time. Joining Hama for the team will be artist Chris Mooneyham, colorist Francesco Segala, and cover artist Andy Kubert. Skybound reports that “each issue of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero will also feature an open-to-order variant cover with a black and white version of Kubert’s stunning main cover.”
