A different way to experience the Wizarding World is coming.  A new official audiobook edition of the series is on the way, and the cast has been announced! This rendition of the series will be recorded in a full-cast style, which means that most characters will have a dedicated actor.  From Dumbledore to Professor Snape to the main trio, here’s the currently known cast lineup for the audiobooks.

Hugh Laurie will be stepping into the role of Professor Albus Dumbledore, the school’s headmaster. For the first three books, Frankie Treadaway will voice Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton will voice Hermione Granger, and Max Lester will voice Ron Weasley. In books four through seven, Jaxon Knopf, Nina Barker-Francis, and Rhys Mulligan will take over the roles, respectively. Other members of the cast include Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, and Cush Jumbo as the narrator. More casting announcements will follow as the release date approaches; the official Harry Potter website estimates that the cast will include approximately 100 voice actors in total.
