“For 15 years we've been waiting for the King to return.” These are the opening lines of the new trailer for season 14 of King of the Hill, released by Hulu and available on IGN’s YouTube page. This new trailer gives us a glimpse at the changed setting, and the synopsis is as follows: “After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas, to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph, and Chane.”

Much of the cast returns, including Mike Judge as Hank Hill, Pamela Adlon as Bobby, Kathy Najimy as Peggy, the late Johnny Hardwick as Dale, Stephen Root as Bill and possibly Buck, and Lauren Tom as Connie. Judge and Greg Daniel are returning to co-produce, under their new Bandera Entertainment animation studio, for the Hulu streaming service. This revival comprises season 14, though season 15 has already been greenlit. Fans of the show will be looking forward to returning to Arlen, Texas, and seeing just what this propane salesman has to say next.
