The cinema box office for Father’s Day Weekend 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting one. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) is returning for a limited-time run!  The film will be available in select theaters on June 14, 15, and 18, with tickets on sale now. This event is a part of Fathom Entertainment’s Big Screen Classic Series, an event celebrating a variety of classic films during anniversary moments. Fathom described the Last Crusade (1989) affair,

"There’s nothing more exciting than trying to keep up with the Joneses in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Indy’s Nazi enemies are back and have kidnapped his father, Professor Henry Jones Sr. (Sean Connery), to aid them in their search for the Holy Grail. Following a trail from America to Venice to the deserts of the Middle East, it’s up to Indy (Harrison Ford) to save his father, save the Grail, and save the day in this non-stop, action-packed adventure the whole family will treasure. This Fathom’s Big Screen Classics release includes exclusive insights from Leonard Maltin."

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) is the third installment of the Indiana Jones franchise. The film follows the titular character as he tries to rescue his kidnapped father and find the Holy Grail; with a prevalent focus on family, it fits well as an adventure film to play over Father’s Day Weekend. The Last Crusade (1989) was one of the most well-received films in the franchise, and was the highest-earning film of 1989 with about $474.17 million in worldwide box office revenue. It was written by Jeffrey Boam, based on George Lucas’ creation, and directed by Steven Spielberg. All Indiana Jones films are available to stream on Disney+.
