'KPop Demon Hunters' Is Netflix's Surprise Summer Hit

This just in, the musical adventure film KPop Demon Hunters has just gotten an update. This isn’t about the content; it has been announced as a success. This film, which was produced by Sony Pictures Animation and debuted on Netflix on June 20 of this year, quickly caught the minds of those who watched, hitting number 2 on the Billboard charts. Despite seeing something of a downturn in recent years, animation has continued to thrive on the streaming service, and Sony Pictures Animation has had several hits in the past few years, not the least of which being the Spider-Verse film series. Who knows what Netflix will put out next?
Kpop Demon Hunters follows a KPop girl group, Huntr/x, as they battle various demons, including the boy band Saja Boys, who are looking to escape their imprisonment. We won’t be spoiling any details of the film here, and people who are interested should be sure to check out the film on Netflix. Already, there are talks about doing a sequel and even a live-action remake, which has got to be a new record. Regardless, KPop Demon Hunters has been a sure hit, and fans will be flocking to Netflix for many years to come.
