The next state of Mobile Suit Gundam is here. This time, we are returning to the world of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans for its tenth anniversary with the short film Makuai no Kusabi (roughly “Link of Interlude”). This short film will connect to a compilation of the Urðr Hunt ONA titled Special Edition: Path of the Little Challenger, which will be released alongside. Kengo Kawanishi and Yoshimasa Hosoya return as Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuka, respectively. Bandai Namco Filmworks, formerly Sunrise, is producing and animating as always, and the crew can be viewed in the source down below.

The Gundam franchise has been continuing and evolving over the past forty five years, and who knows what it’ll do next.
