What in the galaxy happened to Rogue Squadron? That’s the question everyone’s been asking, and it looks like the answer is out there. Since its initial announcement, no filming has taken place for the film, with director Patty Jenkins busy working on the third Wonder Woman movie. The film was taken down from Disney’s release schedule and everyone thought the film was canceled. Or was it? It seems as though Patty Jenkins had shed some light on the subject, revealing that the film was not canceled after all, and with the third Wonder Woman being shelved, it seems that Rogue Squadron is back in development.

According to Jenkins herself, Rogue Squadron was put on the back burner after she left to work on Wonder Woman 3, but was never actually canceled. In fact, Lucasfilm asked her to return to the project once she was finished with her other commitments. With the third Wonder Woman shelved by DC Films, Jenkins is now free to work on developing Rogue Squadron again. That’s all the information we have for now, but we will be sure to keep you updated in the meantime.
