There is no shortage of Din Djarin, aka The Mandalorian, cosplayers, and Disneyland is a place where you’re guaranteed to run into everyone’s favorite bounty hunter-tuned-father. For a lucky group of fans this weekend, the bounty hunter standing before them turned out to be the man himself. Pedro Pascal gave fans the surprise of a lifetime, dressed from head to toe in shiny silver beskar. The unsuspecting group was led to Pascal, who joked about making it too obvious that he was in the suit. These fans were aboard the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disneyland.

Apparently, the whole thing was Pedro’s idea, but it’s something fans discuss often online. Many fans who’ve met Din Djarin and Grogu at Disneyland have admitted hoping that one day Djarin will remove his helmet, revealing Pedro Pascal has been underneath the entire time. Star Wars uploaded videos of Pascal getting ready to surprise fans, and a video of the unsuspecting group being led past their favorite space dad. A Disneyland worker asked helmeted Pedro if he had any words for the fans embarking on their mission. That’s where the fun began as Pascal revealed himself, inducing audible screams and gasps from shocked and excited fans. Pascal teased the starstruck group, much like his character does in clips from The Mandalorian and Grogu, that now that they had seen his face, they all have to die. This might be the best promotion for the movie so far, along with Grogu walking the red carpet at the World Premiere of The Mandalorian and Grogu in Hollywood last week. Pascal spent the rest of the night at Disneyland with Sigourney Weaver, Jon Favreau, and Dave Filoni. The group took pictures together at Space Mountain and watched “The Curious Child” projection show, featuring Grogu’s best memories with Din Djarin. The Mandalorian and Grogu premieres worldwide this week.
