Few actors have experienced the level of fame and scrutiny that Robert Pattinson did after he became wildly famous for his role as Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga. After the franchise’s success, Pattinson channeled his fame into landing major projects directed by Hollywood's most in-demand directors. He disappeared from the spotlight for a few years to work on independent films, while Tom Holland and Timothée Chalamet became extremely famous. Both actors reached a level of fame that’s comparable to Pattinson, but he says, “They became famous when social media was already huge. When the first Twilight came out, people did not even have cameras on their phones yet! Tom and Timothée are very intelligent — much more sensible and disciplined than I was. That is essential if you want to be a star today, because if you allow too much information to reach you, it can genuinely destroy you psychologically.”

Chalamet earned an Academy Award nomination at just 22 years old for Call Me By Your Name, and since then, he’s been chasing his first Oscar. Chalamet is the star of the Dune franchise. Tom Holland has seen immense box office success as Peter Parker in the Spider-Man trilogy. Fans of these actors often argue online over who’s the bigger star, but Pattinson’s stardom is unique because it grew from Millennials to Gen Z. Early on, his fandom was mostly female, but now he’s a rage with nearly everyone. Pattinson’s newest film, Primetime, reportedly had a larger Gen Z audience than others. At 40, he has already proven his range, and even with their own impressive resumes, Holland and Chalamet could learn a few things from the Batman star. Pattinson will be seen in Dune: Part Three, the conclusion of the Dune franchise, starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, who starred opposite Robert in The Drama.
