Following the middling reviews of Gotham Knights, players still held out hope that Rocksteady’s first outing since Arkham Knight would bring DC back to the forefront of superhero games. Therefore, fans were disappointed and underwhelmed following the highly anticipated gameplay trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. While many did not know what to expect from the co-op game, comments have made it apparent that people didn’t want a looter shooter.

In an attempt to fix public opinion, WB has reportedly decided to delay the game for a second time. The company hasn’t made an announcement as of yet, but reputable insiders have come forward to say it’s going to happen. In a post on Twitter, Jason Schreier explained that the game is getting a “polish,” as it would prove to be too costly and time-consuming to “overhaul the core gameplay.”
